Illegal in the U.S. Part 2.5 Please read the question more carefully.Ok?
Thank you.
Answer:
It is a misdemeanor and they are finally 'trying' a program in one area of Texas where everyone found crossing illegally is not just sent back but is jailed from 2 weeks to 6 months. It is just a matter of enforcing existing law, and has dropped crossings about 71% per a recent article, as well as reducing crime along the border. However, when some people took an oath to defend the constitution and our laws, they apparently had their fingers crossed.
Maybe if everybody who vehemently opposes immigration were to write to their senators, representatives, governnors, and the President. If people took surveys in their towns regarding illegal immigration and sent those in with the letters that might help our politicians see that the majority of Americans are against illegal immigration.
Welcome to bipartisan America. The old melting pot has shown her colors, and there is no longer a majority that can stand up and get political change. Everyone division is fighting each other in America, and no one wins in that kind of cutthroat situation. I honestly don't think we have any effect on politics at this time. The average American cannot donate more money to keep them out than the corporations can to bring them in.
However, the punishment cannot be to great. I know that you can kill a man for trespassing in Florida, but that doesn't mean I kill someone outright for walking on my property. I ask them what they are doing and politely try to get them to leave. If that doesn't work, then I resort to using my gun.
the only thing you can do to change anything in washington is to come with a bigger truckload of cash than the last guy did..
