Good questioon, a lot of people that come to the uk have been victims of these terrible events. BUT...in all fairness i should flee to the nearest politically stable country, be it france or Ireland and not all the way across europe. This is something i wish many of these 'refugees' would take heed of.
But in reality i would fight back! You be branded as a terrorist if you fought back, like the israelis dub the palestinians. But one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. Im english and even though now we are a country of pathetic, europe led, compensation claiming liberals - once upon a time, we could really fight.

If we didn't have the EU, for example if all the idiots on this site blaming the EU for all their problems had their way and the EU was no more, then I guess I would try to flee to southern Spain, or Australia, where my brother is.

Let's face facts, if something doesn't change, the UK and the United States of America will absolutely see ethnic war and strife just as happened in the former Yugoslavia and is now starting to happen in Iraq.
The whole point of a nation is a group of similar people being self-governed.
When you have a different groups of people in the same geographic location competing for the same resources, conflict will occur. First it may become cultural and political but eventually it will turn into bloody warefare. That's a fact. Only societies where there's a strong military or police presence in the streets will the status quo be maintained. Or some kind of aparthied.
The United States is filling up with a variety of competing ethnic groups who share nothing in common but maybe a Starbucks in their town or Microsoft Word on their computer. Already, the streets in many American cities are dangerous.
Only the naive, only people who don't want to see reality think things will be fine.
