Can I travel during the fiance visa process?

I am American and my fiance is Spanish. We have applied for a fiance visa so he can come to the US to live with me. Is it okay for me to travel to see him in Spain during the process? I know there can be problems with him traveling to the US, but what about me traveling there?

Answer:
you are not the one "going" thru immigration so you should be free to travel any place you so wish to...............and you leave on your US passport and return on it...........truly should have no impact what so ever..my husband traveled back and forwards on just his military id.

Regards and hope you immigration situation is resolved as soon as it can be
When i was waiting on my visa to be approved, i travelled to and from the USA twice. I was asked my intention of entering the USA and both times they let me through without incidence. You can definately travel to Spain with no problems, and aslong as your fiance buys a return ticket he shouldnt have any problems coming to the US.
Its ok for you to go to Spain. Remember to keep your plane tickets and take a lot of pictures, you will need them when you go to the interview at your local immigration office for his greencard.
congrats and goodluck!!
