For those who are against deporting illegal aliens...?
So why is it alright for someone to come into our country without persmission nor background check, take a job and take advantage of social services ?

Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country
protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of
illegal immigration. Certain people are angry that the US might
protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this
country and, once here, to stay indefinitely. Let me see if I
correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.
Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover
me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made
all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept
the floors; I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm
hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into you r house).
According to the protesters, not only must you let me stay, you must
add me to your family's insurance plan, educate my kids, and provide
other benefits to me and to my family (my husband will do your yard
work because he too is hard-working and honest, except for that
breaking in part).
If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my
friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my right to be there. It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm hard-working and honest, um, except for well, you know.
And what a deal it is for me!! I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, you have to pay the rest and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of selfishness, prejudice and being an anti-housebreaker.
Oh yeah, and I want you to learn my language so you can communicate with me.

Here's a question for you: Has the possibility that not all answers come easily and wrapped up in neat little packages ever occured to you? I mean, I know after almost 8 years of idiocy like "terrorists hate freedom" and "anyone who disagrees with me supports the terrorists" have dumbed the country down a bit, but c'mon. Do you know how much of our country's resources it will take to deport all of our illegal aliens? Do you have any idea? It would be the biggest undertaking we've ever embarked on in this country's history, costing billions upon billions of dollars, and requiring more people then we have at our desposal right now. Hands down. We'd have to put all other projects on hold to accomplish this, and it still probably wouldn't work. And for what? The more determined deportees would just turn around and come back anyway. It happens all the time today. Then we'll have to expend more resources to deport them again and ROUND AND ROUND WE GO.
The fact is, people will never stop trying to get into the US as long as their own countries offer little to no opportunities and they've got mouths to feed. There are jobs here for the taking, and there are none where they are from. It's really a no brainer. What do you honestly think you would do in their position? Oh yeah: You'd fill out the application and wait 10 years while your kids starve. Ha ha ha! Right.
It doesn't matter what I think is right or wrong. It doesn't matter whether or not you like them here or not. Am I against deporting them? DOESN'T MATTER ONE IOTA BECAUSE IT'LL NEVER HAPPEN. It's time to face the facts. They won't stop coming. They AREN'T stopping now. If we're going to pass any legislation, it's going to have to be realistic, and that does not include any of the BS put forth by xenophobic ideologues.

Undocumented immigrants are here because they are not only invited here by employers but are needed here. The U.S. government , Republican or Democrat is one of the only issue they agree on;amnesty to undocumented immigrants.

NO,NO,and NO i dont think that if someone is here illegally they should get to stay - send their asses back to their country and let them do it the right way - nothing against immigrants just illegal ones who bother me. IF someone stole your car would you just let them keep it since they already had it - hell no!
It could be resolved by coming hard on the employers. If there is not job, there is no opportunity, which means "I would rather stay in Mexico".

BUT, I do understand where u are coming from, u think they are taking what is yours, I say unless you work in the cleaning business or fruit/vegetable harvesting and you are receiving food stamps or something like that, they are not taking anything from you, cause the government is still going to take tons of taxes from you no matter what
I know people that were born here, health and able to work that are freaking bums/lazy */*-* that are asking and receiving food stamps and other social services.
I know I don't receive any social services like Medicaid or food stamps cause of how much I make, so in that way they don't affect me and in the job field unless they go and get their papers and a bachelors they wont take my job away.
Please don't misunderstand me, I know where you are coming from and I know illegals do wrong things but only cause they have to, if the government would make it a little easier for them to get their papers but no, they charge tons and they have to be married to an us citizen or have us citizens kids over 21, be from Cuba and hopefully make it here ( no offense to Cubans) or etc, my point is that illegal do what they have to to survive
If they really had a choice (or way) they would get their papers to get here legally!

He doesn't have any help from the government. He pays cash at the doctor and dentist. He gets taxes cut from his check that we can't get back at the end of the year..

I for one would love to send them back, everyone of them. But I think this should have been done a long time ago, so long ago that I'm not sure our economy can stand not having them here now, as far as the social services this will not change, we support them now as an illegal you can walk into any hospital with an emergency room and get treated and never pay the bill sticking us (the tax payer) with the bill. now even with them getting citizenship, they will still not be able to pay their bills, most have low paying jobs, so they will have to continue using the emergency room and not paying. so social services will continue to be as high as it is. but at least for now we are not pay 10 dollars for a head of lettuce, or 100 dollars for a pair of jeans. and this is what will happen once we replace low income non benefit workers with decent living wage and benefited workers, and it won't be long before the unions start back up, and them the consumer will really be f'ed, so we have a real dilemma on our hands. and a government that really only cares about the matter because each side believes it will get them votes. we (America) have been sold out by our politicians ( Dems & Reps.) once again!!
I don't think I could go to another country and live off of thier social services, not that I would try anyway. I do feel sorry for illegal's but it's way to much and getting out of hand. The other day I took my daughter to Emergency and I was the only white person there, It was all spanish speaking people. My company pays for my insurance which I know is expensive because my copayments went way up recently. My hospital was not a county hospital, are they getting free health care too. The hospital is Kaiser by the way.
ok here is my take. My uncle works for a construction company owned by a white man and gets paid 20 dollars an hour he is kind of the guy"s right hand. The owner will not hire blacks or even Mexican Americans just Mexicans because he says the others are too lazy, dont work and always gripe and whine about everything. So i think is the big rich guys that make illegals come here because they give them work because they know that the majority come here to work . I was born here but both my parents came from mx, and yes i agree that alot of illegals are not good but the majority of them just come here to work, make as much money as possible and then will go back to their country. I have two uncles that have started their own businesses without being legal and they both have big houses here and in MX and brand new trucks and make about 400,000/yr but they have done all this with IT #s, they say that when they get old they will leave to MX again . So I think if you really want to get rid of illegals coming here we need to start with all the people who make this possible for illegals and sorry to say this but it is the big rich white people that make it happen so not all of this is the illegals fault. Because believe me it makes me feel ashamed that I was born here and went to college and am still not making as much money as my uncles or have what they have.
