Yes, I certainly agree with you. When I started visiting MyTend, not too long ago, I was shocked at some of the things I was reading. It opened my eyes to how may "uneducated racist bigots" that there are (just in this forum alone). I'm also sure that the ones here on MyTend are only a small percentage of what's out in the world. It's a little scary actually.

I suggested an immigration policy on Answers a while back... I felt it addressed all possible facets- asylum-seekers, children of illegals, etc.... I'd have to look a while to find it...
Yes, many illegals in different countries have tried to make the majority of citizens conform to their way of thinking, instead of visa-versa. Australia has the right idea: conform to our ways or get out.

Well, if you're Canadian this argument doesn't pertain to you. How many illegal Mexicans are streaming across the border into your town? And your other point about racist bigots, what side does that come from? If I call someone a stupid Mexican, is that racist? Mexican is a nationality, they come in all colors. Do you want to play peace maker? Move down here, try living in the southwestern U.S. for a while. You'll come around, it's a war right now.
Its very simple actually, the younger tend to be the new world order spawn from the multi cultural equal justice rainbow types. They think no harm will come to them from a invasion from the third world. There are finite resources, we that have more resources use more energy and generally live higher in comfort levels, we dont want to share our marbles with others who tend to need our marbles. The needy tend to think they deserve our marbles or there a racist if they dont giv' em up.
Bottom line is the division of wealth will ALWAYS be the point of difference between these opinions. So it goes on. In the long haul though, we will expel most of the illegals and keep just the amount corp. want to keep and a few gardeners.

I like you dude, it's just that these people get so obsessed with politics that they go to the point of insulting and squirting their venom in Y!A. Don't think that all Americans are like this though, most of them don't really give a crap about this issue for real. It is kind of obvious though that if you go to an online immigration forum there will CERTAINLY be extremist people of both sides of the debate. All the ones that are in the middle or just don't care usually don't even visit these forums.

Tell you what. If you like them so much we will gladly ship them all to Canada. I have seen what they have done to California and it is not pretty. Sure there are good people everywhere but with illegal immigration you don't get a choice and trust me, the bad far outweighs the good. I totally agree with you!!! Many of the racists that post here are really ignorant, and the way they talk about Mexicans (illegal or legal) shows their true colors. Yahoo should moderate because some the violent crap they post is just nasty!! But like SIERVOCAL says most Americans out there don't really care at all about illegal immigration. Most of the rabid anti-illegal immigration Republican politicians were defeated in last November's elections, so that shows you how much Americans really care about immigration, and American business owners LOVE hiring illegal immigrants. Oh and to the poster above...I know where East L.A. is and believe me it's not any worst than most American cities like Baltimore or Detroit.
