How long does K3 visa process take in California?

I would like to know how long K3 visa process takes to bring a spouse from abroad while waiting for I-130 to be approved.

Answer:
The time it takes for petitions to be approved varies, as does the time it takes for an interview to be scheduled for the visa, depending on which consulate the interview will be held at. So it is very difficult to give you an absolute. Generally nowadays, in many cases both the I-130 and I-129F for the K-3, are being approved same day or close to as they are now being adjudicated at the same service center.

Ignore the above poster however. If you are looking for a very rough time frame, a year. Could be months earlier, could be longer.
