How do i bring my niece from Peru?

I originally came from Peru to the United States. I have been living in the United States for 20 years and I am now a citizen. I would like to bring my 11 year old niece to at the very least visit me and perhaps get her to stay so she can study. What do I need to do?

Answer:
Visit her in Peru, you will save a lot of time and money.
Call the INS and I'm sure that they will advise you on the procedure.
Well you can Hire a COYOTE to bring her. But since you are a USA citizen, there are ways that you can apply for her legally, and since you want her to come study it would make it way easier. Talk to a good lawyer and he can definitely give a solution.
If she wants to come as a tourist, she´ll have to apply for a B-2 visa at the American Embassy in Lima. If she wants to study in the US, she will have to apply to an American school and be accepted. She will then apply for a student visa at the American Embassy, showing proof that she has been accepted at an American school. *She will also have to show proof that she can pay the tuition fees for her studies.*
You will not be able to sponsor her as a permanent resident since only parents, siblings and spouses can do that.
start her paperwork BEFORE she leave Peru!
Truth is, getting even a visitor visa for a relative from Peru is nearly impossible. Unless you own a bank over there, I'm sorry but the best you can do is visit her in Peru. I've been trying for my nephew and niece to come and visit their grandmother (who is over 80) here for nearly seven years, and nothing.

Sorry.
Contact your local school and ask them how to bring her with a exchange program. She'd get a F-1 student visa.
