If i wanted to could i move to a different country for 6 months and move back and do this repeatedly?

Answer:
Depends on the other country. You'd probably end up paying taxes in both of them.
As your first answer stated...yes you can.

There are several countries that would allow you to enter/work/leave/return for as long as you like. Most want you to do it legally though.

There are countries (much like the US) that you could become an illegal immigrant, working without a visa, below radar.

If you didn't want to work, your list of countries increase tremendously :) Provided you can show proof of a "set" level of income, that meets their minimum requirements.
As long as you were approved for the visas, it probably wouldn't work.
