How do I get a visa for my girlfriend to come here?

My girlfriend is a citizen of Bosnia and herzegovina. I want her to come to the United States to meet my family. It is really hard for Herzegovinan citizens to get Visas to the US. Almost always denied. So with that in mind is the only way to get her here through a fiance visa? What if she comes on that visa and we dont marry how long can she stay before they would make her leave? It seems silly to me that I cant have my foreign girlfriend come here to meet my family, so someone any advice would be great.

get a fiancee visa,, she shouldn't get denied 4 that, but u will have to get married or shell hav to go back,, and then she can apply for citizenship while shes here to, if that's what u want to do,, if not ur right it would be hard for her to even get a travel visa... best of luck, and don't listen to these racist pigs on here tellin her to stay home the only reason they are in this country is cuz their ancestors came over here rather than stayin and fixing their own countries,, so i hope ur girl does get to come,, just anther smack in these racists faces

If you apply for a fiance visa (Form I-129) it will take about 6-9 months for it to be approved or denied. You will have to show proof that you have met and kept in contact (photos, e-mails, plane tickets, etc.). Once she arrives in the USA you will have to marry within 90 days or she will be in violation of the visa terms and run the risk of being deported. You would get in trouble too and could be charged with visa fraud.
Ask for a fiance visa if you are sure you want to marry her. Be careful with the girls you meet. If you do not marry her, she can go back to her home country, no problem.
