Yes, those were the "maquiladoras,' but it didn't last. Factories were moved to even cheaper countries.
Ya.alot of our factories are there and they're all here. LOL I also read all these BILLIONS of dollars of remittances that are being sent back is also driving their cost of living higher. Costing us and costing them. And this is good?

You obviously have not travelled in Mexico, nor appreciate the wonderfull Mexican people and their culture which is hundreds of years older than the US.
Illegal immigration is wrong! And is a huge problem all over the world.
Every 1st world country is loosing jobs to Mexico, India, Pakistan, China and on and on. Its not just a US issue.

Yes little lady. Believe it or not there is still over 90 million Mexicans living in Mexico.
There is a huge workforce in Mexico.The problem is there are no jobs..All the population flocks to the big cities like Mexico City and Monterrey.The jobs have dried up fast in all the large cities in Mexico.Their is a large unemployment rate.So guess what? They come here to look for even the lowest paying jobs, because its still much higher than what you would make over there.
More went to China and India.You're worried about the Mexicans while the government is selling us to China.Too funny.
