Indefinite leave to remain for a married partner with children?

I am a UK citizen, we have 2 children who both have British passports. My wife is just about to complete her 2 years spouse visa and apply for indefinite leave to remain. Even though her visa says she is not entitled to public funds, does this affect the children? Can they be in reciept of Child Benefit?

Answer:
If you are a UK citizen, your children are entitled to UK benefits even though their mother is not.
