What is your argument against amnesty?

Umm.... More immigrant pay taxes then people think. They still have to pay taxes at stores, renew plates, buy plates, buy city stickers, pay home owners taxes, and most dont even benefit from not being taxed at work because they get paid so low. It is the american business owner that hires them that makes out because he/she is not paying taxes and reporting them being hired. Immigrants pay taxes via use of other peoples names and freinds.
Immigrants not paying taxes is one of the most criticized under analyzed topics in america. Talk to the immigrants and ask them if they pay taxes...... THE ANSWER IS YES.
They broke the law. Why should they be rewarded for that. I might as well start raping women and then when caught claim to be an escort and sue them for my fees.
That isn´t my issue. I don´t think they should be granted amnesty because they should not be rewarded for entering the country illegally. I don´t care if they´re paying taxes or not, they have no right to become legal and should be deported.
Soley based on the term illegal - if we start rewarding criminal behavior where will it end?
You shouldn't reward people for breaking the law, although amnesty will probably solve a lot of illegal immigration problems if a solution is coupled with better immigration enforcement.

i dunno i think most people really most , if they would tell the truth from their hearts and not b so diplomatic, i thin most of white america would just love to get rid of all the dark skinned people, i truly believe most of us whites would love an all white america. even if when asked in public we are as i said more diplomatic about it. if we woke up tomorrow and it magically was an all white country. i thik most of us white folk would honestly gt down and thank god. thats just my opinion though
They need to pay for their crimes as necessary. If they want to become citizens, they must assimilate. There are no hyphenated Americans. If they owe taxes, they must pay them. They must also repay any costs for them being here. (Education for their kids, Welfare, etc.)
They must pass a medical examination and have NO criminal record.
No matter where you go or what you do taxes are a part of life. Take day labors how are they paying taxes? They go from job to job to job that would require a lot of forms to be filed but such is the case greed exceeds morals
Here's the problem. Juan slipped across the border in the early 80's. Lucky Juan. The Republicans decided to grant amnesty to 8 million illegals living here. Juan is delighted... and so are his many cousins, second cousins, aunts, uncles who Juan can now sponsor. So, now we have legal Juan AND his 17 illegal relatives sucking the system dry.
I feel that amnesty is a good thing. Most immigrants just want to make enough money to build a home or provide things for there families before going home. If amnesty was granted they would start paying taxes, but then someone would find something else to gripe about. The thing is some people are just racist and they are never going to change there opinions.
Poor people can't pay enough taxes even to cover the $10,000 per child per year it costs for education, much less for other services illegal immigrants and their families use. The money is taken from our children's education funds, ruining their schools, and from our social services for our own people, draining those. They don't make enough money to pay much in taxes. That is why every country in the world limits how many poor people can come.
The last time that amnesty was given, by Ronnie Ray Gun he promissed that it would absolutly be the last time.

Well we tried amnesty when Reagan was president,now America has more crime,more hospitals closing,lack of education in our school system and we are paying more for welfare than ever before.More identities being stolen and more jobs for our women and children being stolen. And more people being killed by illegals than kids who are fighting a war to have the freedoms you illegals take for granted.
Amnesty will not solve the problem of illegal immigrants coming into the country in the future. We already tried it under Reagan, and look where we are today - we have many more millions of illegal immigrants.
Most Americans, including myself, welcome legal immigrants because we believe that our diverse heritage is part of makes this country great. Some of the most gratifying volunteer work I have done has been tutoring immigrants in English and helping them adapt to life in this country. But why should illegal immigrants be allowed to live here without any consequences while others follow legal procedures? As anyone who has lived abroad can tell you, in nearly every country there are procedures that must be followed. I've lived abroad in two different countries and in both cases I had to have a work or student Visa or else I would have been sent home. Why do some people act as though we are being unfair by simply enforcing our laws?
How about the fact that it's unfair to all the people that have been following the rules and waiting. They would be getting a head of them in line for citizenship. We should not reward the ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINALS. They are criminals because they are breaking the law!
The current illegal alien criminals are unskilled and will never make much money. This means that when they file their tax return, not only will they get everything back but they will probably qualify for the "earned income tax credit." (AKA FREE MONEY for low income people.)
Anybody that says they are currently paying taxes is a liar! They have no SS# so they are paid under the table.
Amnesty was a disaster in 1986! What makes you think it will have a different result this time? Besides, once they announce amnesty (AKA Guest worker program) you will have MILLIONS more illegal alien criminals coming for the next round of amnesty.

Why give someone who broke the law citizenship. It is one thing to work in a country and another thing to become a citizen.

in order to answer such question you must know about history(economy history) before to ask something but the most of the citizens do not know anything about that otherwise you will be kicking your politicians.
