Should we Americans start demanding?
Should we also start bombarding the phone lines of all the banks and businesses we deal with and demand that they give options for these languages when we call to do business?
Imagine what would happen if we all did!

I find it interesting that this is the same country that allowed boarding schools to eradicate our languages, yet lets other non-Native people speak theirs all they want. I don't recall the non-Native people making any effort to learn our languages either. Now you all know how we feel.

Mexican to American is the new wave of imagration into the united states.. we have had a diffrent nation at the for front spilling into the states all through our small history...and has changed many times over, its the same each time though. a new minority becomes the majority.

call and send emails to your senators and House reps demanding that no Amnesty otherwise you will see them at the next elections and pass it along, word of mouth goes a long way..

What exactly is your point? You do realize that in Ireland, they speak ENGLISH, don't you? Banks and businesses know there is a huge Spanish-speaking market and they want to be able to tap into it. They choose to provide that service.
