Not if I knew. That would be like me hiring them myself. Or supporting the cheating lawbreakers who did. Wouldn't people who cheat with illegal labor also use substandard materials?
I do not allow any contractor on my property that uses illegals. All of them must sign that all workers they use are legal residents.
They are subject to inspection prior to being sold, are they not? Are you aware that many construction companies get workers by contacting prisons to find out who is being released and in need of employment?
Does your brother employ convicted felons? If any company employs any worker not previously trained in construction, you can expect substandard work.
I will never knowingly work with illegal alien criminals. I have stopped going to some places that hire these criminals. They are criminals since they are here illegally.

I agree with you ... I have seen some of the results of these "hard working illegals" in landscaping, building and car mechanics ... all sub standard work, because it actually takes more than putting in long hours to get a job properly done, it takes know how! Which they by and large don't have ... I'd give most of them 10 out of 10 for trying, 2 out of 10 for succeeding doing a ob properly ....

Yes I would. Just because they are not legal does not mean that they do not know what they are doing. If your brother says they are doing substandard work, that is a reflection of the company, not them. Is the company buying substandard materials and if the work is substandard, why let the employee keep working, regardless of their citizenship status.
No I built my own house so i know it was built right and the few contractors i did hire would only use legal help. They said it costs a little more but worth every penny.
Hahaha, girl don't take my answer so personal! So far all the houses that I know have been built by illegals are just as good as those that were built by all the others. You just have to understand the politically incorrect fact that people who come here because of horrible circumstances won't take the time to sit around and rest. They come here to work, and that's what they dedicate their lives here to. They don't do things faster because they are better, but because their goal is to make as much money as possible, as soon as possible.
No, I would definitely not buy a house built by illegal aliens. I have heard contractors tell me that homes built by illegal aliens have serious hidden problems.
no i would never buy a house built by illegals or let illegals build a house for me. they do cheap fast labor and chances are the house would fall down after a couple years.
In phoenix, i can safely say,nearly all new construction (resi. & commercial) is done by mexicans. weather they are legal, or illegal their workmanship is very poor..i would be cautious if buying a house here..they look perty on the surface, but i have personally seen their shotty work in all phases of construction. i'm not sure if the inspectors are paid off, look the other way, or just don't care..i came from oregon & i can gaurentee you,someone would lose their jobs in a hurry if they tried to get away with the stunts that they pull here..guess it's because arizona is a right to work state.anyway, think twice before buying in the valley of the damned.
Well, the house where I live has been here for maybe more than 50 years and was made by native Mexicans and it still looks as new. The problem is some contractors hire illegals who don't know a thing about buildings, but are willing to do whatever job they are asked to do. They are as human as you and me and have starving families to feed.
