A system which relies on illegal immigrants working for below minimum wage to support it is broken, and needs to be reformed.
There needs to be immigration reform to allow easier legal immigration.
If amnesty occurs OR if all the illegal aliens were deported ... either way, you're going to see it impact you, because either people will have to start paying them properly (which will raise the costs of what you buy) or will have to pay Americans to do their jobs, many of which will probably be very hard to fill. Much as people may complain about illegal immigrants costing them money, that's essentially bullshit. Any of the other options will cost as much or more.
As a legal immigrant, who pays a lot in taxes, and who had to jump through innumerable hoops to do so legally, I am in in favour of my taxes being higher if it means immigration is made less horrible, and people can enter the country to work legally.
