I work as a consultant in the US & am getting my H1B processed but 4 months & no response. Will it happen ?

Visa status has gone to "Require more evidence". Not sure what evidence is really required. Has anyone gone through this and come out successful ? I'm having doubts. :( Any feedback appreciated.

Answer:
That means the USCIS requires more supporting documents regarding your employer's petition to have you work for him. This is pretty common. It can be a variety of things like your education evaluation, your previous employment pay stubs, your IT returns for the past one year, your employer related Q's. Talk to the lawyer and employer about what they heard from the USCIS

www.immigrationvoice.org is a place where lot of H1B's flock around.
It takes a while...my company sponsored an H1-B. It closer to 6 months...but relax you'll get there. Its an easy process. Make sure when you're three years are up...file for your renewal at the soonest opportunity.
