Generalisation is dangerous but Iwould say Islamic immigrants who scorn our laws freedoms and culture are the worst followed by africans with their hands permanently out for benefits.The best are the poles who graft their butts off for a better life.

worst - my best friends Polish girlfriend; she's off the scale crazy, spits in his face, punches him etc
best - my Japanese wife, who quietly gets on with life, is a loving and devoted partner and without whom, life would have no further purpose for me.
In a general sense, Polish immigrants are on the whole great; hard workers, similar culture to the British, love a good laugh and are always willing to lend a hand. Or possibly the Chinese who quietly get on with it and are an immigrant group who are never in the papers for causing disruption.
I'd have to say the worst are from Pakistan who live very isolated, insular lives, within their own community. On the whole, they don't seem to like British culture or our way of life, and in every encounter I have had with a Pakistani, I have been left feeling insulted and with a lasting impression of rudeness.

Me, I'm a Canadian and I drink too much ( I'm pi**ed as I type) I also screw anything willing on two or four legs and I don't believe that I should have to work for a living when the nice British Government keeps me. Gosh, I'm 75 next month! That doesn't stop me from screwing. Have a good day.

Who are the worst immigrants in the UK today? A hard question to answer, as there is much stiff competition for this particular status.
Easier to answer is who are the best behaved. The population of Bhutani émigrés are the clear winners - and that is not just an opinion based on my personal experience - it is a fact supported by police statistics that this particular segment of the population has no correlation with crime whatsoever.
I hope everyone reading this will join me in a toast to Bhutan, it's king and it's people, and especially it's expatriots living here in the UK.

would you believe me if I said that the worst immigrants are the Turks? No, of course you wouldn't. The Greeks? Yes, you probably would agree! Truth is, you don't know and neither do I. I woulds like to say the Africans, but that would be unfair to all the nice, well behaved Africans! All three of them! No, no, I'm only kidding. It would be nice to use this question to unload all the bigotry and prejudice in me, but I'm going to resist!

We will never know the best because they behave as they are , decent people, getting on with their lives in a law abiding and positive manner.
The worst in my view must be the preachers of hate, but then we allowed then to claim asylum and refused to extradite many to the countries of their birth despite the rulers of those countries seeking extradition of those individuals to face criminal charges.
Only (us) the British could be that stupid.
We see it again today 17/7/07 we demand extradition of lugovoy from Russia to face murder charges but refuse to extradite a wanted terrorist leader to Russia. Apparently it is not possible to get a fair trial? But we extradite to the USA despite Guantanamo bay.
I am proud to be British but this is hypocrisy by 'my' government.

the bad ones are the ones that don't abide by our laws and accept our culture, after all its not for us to change to suit them, but them to change to suit us. if any immigrant doesn't like this, then they are free to leave. And before any P.C's say I'm being racist, then think about it, its our country, its our ways, and most of all its our freedom that is so important to these people who come here to escape the persecution in their own country.
I've always found Eastern European people extremely nice, chatty, and willing to take part in British life. I have unfortunately come across Roma people who are the worst by far.

As you're talking in the singular, I'll give you my view:
Best - Rolf Harris (Australian). One may not enjoy his shows but at least he seeks to be entertaining in a non-offensive way.
Worst - Robert Maxwell (Czech, I think). As Iain Hislop so eloquently put it "A liar, a cheat and a crook - and he can't sue me!" That man caused misery for thousands so that he could enjoy a high life. In the end, though, he didn't have two pennies to rub together. Wee bit of justice don't you think?
