Can an illegal immigrant that is here in TX on a expierd Visa go to Puerto Rico and beable to come back to TX?

My boyfriend and I would like to go to Puerto Rico.I am a US citzen but he is not.He is from argentina and has been here for 5 years. He has an expierd Visa and has no passport.Would he be able to go and come back without a problem?

Answer:
dont take a chance....your bf can get caught if he is unable to present a State issued drivers license ID card or his country's passport with a valid visa...although you only require a driver's license to Air travel within US (Puerto Rico is part of US), with the strict rule changes when it comes to air travel....I would advise you not to risk it....
Your boyfriend is in the US illegally. How does he plan to get to Puerto Rico? Remember, PR is part of the US, therefore, since he is a foreigner authorities will require him to show a valid passport. It's common sense. Do you guys really expect authorities to let him pass with no passport and an expired visa, either way?
