What do LEGAL PERMANENT RESIDENTS think about the Illegal Amnesty Bill?
So if the ILLEGALS are granted Amnesty, shouldn't LEGAL PERMANENT RESIDENTS be granted citizenship without a TAX FEE of $400 if they so desire?

Every one has the right to live, Legal Resident and I am not against that. If they gov't want to make them legal, that is not a problem for me. Does that affect you? Nop. Why is it bad to go from illegal to legal?

um they are not being GRANTED legal status they have to WORK for it.
I do think the same way about this as most US citizens.
I came here to marry a US citizen. We have been separated for almost 2 years to safe up for the fees and the filing procedure.
I wish they would let us file without paying the fee or pay back after it has been approved, but keep on dreaming. The whole process, including the medical exam, tickets and all, have cost us $5000 all together (I am from Europe).
I believe everyone should accept the laws and follow the rules that are set up for a controlled way of immigration.
You need to pay your taxes and do your job, like anybody that lives here. Get a SSN and don't get a fake one or steal someone identity. Some one did that to my mother-in-law and she had a hard time with the INS, explaining where the income came from.
Employers should always verify the SSN status.
"Illegals" are not being granted citizenships. This "Amnesty" Bill will make them legal in some way. And most undocumented immigrants are good people, they follow the law, work hard, most do pay taxes. The only law they are breaking is coming here illegally, basically meaning, searching for a better life, escaping turmoil in their home countries.
