Why are YOU for allowing illegal people into the USA?
Are you concerned about there being too many?

What is good about these folks being here without any liimits to the numbers that come here?

Legal immigration is good. There is not a single good thing to say about illegal immigration. Illegal immigration is damaging to our country in all ways. I am concerned but I don't know what the citizens can do other than notifying their politicians of their feelings and getting ready to vote in the next election for representatives who will NOT continue to allow this to go on and who will begin enforcing the perfectly good laws regarding immigration and hiring of illegal immigrants that we already have. Also, getting rid of the "anchor baby" loophole would go a long way to discouraging illegal immigration, along with NOT giving social benefits to anyone who is not a legal citizen or legal immigrant. Stop allowing illegal immigrants to register their children in our schools and giving them free medical care. Deport them ALL immediately whenever they turn up for these things or are located in any contact by the police. It is NOT impossible to deport them all over a period of time and with true enforcement of our laws, many will deport themselves.
I think every middle-class American should protest....
cheap labor is the main reason people don't seem to mind illegal immigrants. but when they take jobs away from US citizens,that's a problem. they cannot be tracked, they don't pay taxes, they're basically hitching a free ride on the US. i tihnk immigration regulations shouldn't be as long and timetaking and difficult an endeavor as they are, becuase there is nothing wrong with legal immigration, but illegal immigration hurts this country as a whole, even if it does save people a few bucks here and there on their individual budgets.
I really could care less about the situation, honestly....But then again on the other hand, I have a problem with immigrants coming over and getting these jobs from the employers who are willing to hire them quicker then their own people simply because they work for lower wages then us and for the fact that they supposedly work harder then us but uh yeah, other then that, I could care less
Your question makes no sense to me. I am personally not allowing "illegal people into the USA" and I doubt most US citizens are doing so either. Perhaps you need to rephrase your question.
JuanCarlos, I don't recognize the label "pro-illegal", it is ridiculous. I favor cracking down on illegal immigration and I favor a path to citizenship for illegals already here who can pay fees, fines, and have no criminal history.
I am concerned about all you have mentioned. I do not feel there is anything at all good about criminals being here without something being done about it.
All of the above I agree are legitimate. I think many who trash this question have not been directly affected by it, because they feel the U.S has a money tree and it can NEVER be overcrowded. I just don't get it. When can we put a cap? This is not a Utopia.
I'm not for it., and if the illegals came here legally instead of sneaking over the fence & acting like a bunch of goddamn banshee's, i might be more forgiving..but until they play by the rules, & stop behaving like mooching,crime ridden, animals,.they are not welcome..GET IT?
You keep using the word illegals but then refer to all immigrants and I believe you are just afraid.
People fear what they dont know and you obvious either had a bad experience which a person who wasnt from the USA or you dont know anybody who isnt from the same background as you and therefore you are stereotyping.
Anyway to answer your questions....I dont believe illegal immigration is right in any form....and as an immigrant yes I believe there are too many illegal immigrants and they are making it bad for those of us who came here legally.
The US crime rate has less to do with immigrants than it has to do with a messed up system...look at the crime rate in the countries these immigrants come from not as bad as it here. The quality of life and education system will be horrible with or without immigrants because family and community life in this country are bad.
Stop blaming immigration for the problems we are experiencing in this country.
