Is it fair that polish people can reclaim taxes?
whilst they reside in this country some get £100 per month towards their rent and c/tax
How does that work?

They'll Illegals too, Deport them with the Mexicans, Africans, Asians and Middle Easterners that Choose to broke our Laws and take advantage of us Americans.

While they are living here they use our resources, police, libraries hospitals etc and then when they go its all for free!

If you go and work in Poland you can claim your tax back when you return too. Go for it!
Here's an example:
If you work for 3 months in UK, you won't have a tax code, so you will be put on emergency tax code - this takes far more tax than is necessary, because it makes the assumption that you will be working for the full tax year.
At the end of the tax year, or on leaving the country you can reclaim the tax overpaid.
This applies to anyone, not just Poles. You are seeing some racial discrimination where none exists.
The one person you can say does not discriminate unfairly is the taxman. He just wants to screw everyone, irrespective of race, creed or colour!
Where do people dig up this nonsense ,nobody gets a refund of paye if they leave the country same with n.i. contributions .Rent and council tax rebates are based on low earnings and administered by local authorities not central government .Remember junkies who havent done a days work in their life still get rent and council tax rebates .Remember rebates for overpayment dont mean you get every penny back only what you overpaid.

They only get all their tax back if they have been paying tax but have earnt less than 5,000 pounds in the tax year. They are eligible for tax rebates in the same way as anyone else - I got one once! It will be because they've paid more tax than they should have done for the money they earnt. It really only works for someone who is here for a short time; I suspect that more often than not migrant workers miss out on claiming tax credits they're entitled to due to not knowing how to work the system.
As for getting money toward rent and council tax, that's only if they're on a low income; Brits in similar circumstances can get similar help in other EU countries like Holland or Germany.
The basic rule is that an EU citizen working in another EU country should have the same entitlements as a native. Believe me, plenty of Brits have had help in other EU countries, although making the system work can be pretty hard work.
Of coarse it is our goverment set up this loop hole!

Anyone who works in UK and then moves abroad, either to work or simply to return home, can claim back taxes paid in the previous year before their departure.
Not sure how much can be claimed back. Contact your local tax office to find out. Could be a whole bunch of wonga!
Quite so as stated above - anyone can reclaim taxes, due to the way tax is calculated. Most people who are not on PAYE pay tax forwards as well as back, which is known as "payment on account."
If you won't be paying tax next year due to no longer being resident in the nation to which you payed tax, then you are due back any money you paid forward.
Polish people get a lot of good things from this country. Jobs and homes being among them, when there are not enough jobs and affordable homes for the native Britons.
Oh but they are so nice and hard working. So that makes it alright.

Yes its fair, why are you picking on the Polish for, the law applies to everyone. Dont you like Polish people or something. Look if you dont like that state giving away your money; vote tory. But if you like high taxes and the government giving away your money to any looser with a hard luck story then vote Labour. The Poles have nothing to do with it.
