i don't believe it should be closed, just watched more closely. I have nothing bad to say about immagration, all I ask it for people to do it legally. I truly feel for the people who are just trying to better their lives and risk all to come here.
If mexicans were not allowed in America, who would do all your repedative, soul destroying jobs that are essential to your communities and lifestyles but do it on minimum wage. Students?the homeless?
Jobs like clothing manufacture, cleaning and maintenance , housemaids,service station attendents, waiters.

It was interesting to note that the so called"illegals " that everyone new worked in the World Trade centre on 9/11 and were never seen or heard from again , were never considered victims or recognised as such. Yet they died in the same way as every other worker that day.

look at all the filth and garbage since they got here. graffiti, gangs, trash everywhere just like in mexico. they just brought the trash with them and then threw it out here, you see it all the time. the only reasons mexicans are here, is to crowd our emergency rooms, take the welfare away from the white trash, and the blacks.

I would say that anyone who is concerned about the effects that illegal aliens are having on US economy and safety would like it to be either closed or under very strict security. There are people who do go through the expensive lengthy legal process, and I don't think the border should be closed to them.

I agree. America's greatest terror concern is that a suitcase nuke has been smuggled in. Should one be detonated, there will be a major backlash that will lock the border hard for a long time to come.
I don't think it should be closed. Just enforce our normal immigration laws which allows for millions of people to cross to work LEGALLY, shop LEGALLY, vacation LEGALLY, attend school LEGALLY, and even immigrate LEGALLY.
Yes the borders should be closed. There are legal ways to obtain citizenship. They should be honest and obey the laws. Many break the law again when they comew to the US and use other peoples Social security numbers and identity. They should also learn to speak English. This USA!! English is the language for business. Jappnese learn it. Also Russians. They should learn it also.
Controlled, not closed. However, I consider mass immigration of poor people above our quotas to be every bit as damaging as terrorists, given what it does to our schools. The idea that all 4 billion + of poor people in the world should be able to come have us pay for their education and services so long as terrorists are stopped is a non-starter with me.

If you become very ill and require emergency care... and live in one of Texas' many border towns, good luck finding an ER that is not on stand by!! That ambulance may have to drive another 100 miles to find a hospital to take your legal sick body.
