That is really a lame excuse for supporting illegal immigrants. And besides that, are they pets or livestock? People like you are welcome to eat whatever is left behind. Have a "hot dog".
If the illegals care themselves they will see to it that their pet will go with them or go to some family member or friend, keep in mind that 90+% of illegals usually live with legal friends or family, or have friends or famiily that can send them their pets or care for them, and have you ever wondered thaty maybe these pets could also be used for food???? In Mexico they sell cat and dog tacos on the street corners??? But all in all, I do care about the animals, a lot more than anyone will give me credit for because I rescue dogs from animal shelters and dog pounds and train them to be used in various jobs and in these jobs they are well taken cared of, have great medical and dental insurance, have greast homes and provide a great service.
I would assume that the humane society would collect them.
The pets that pass the screening will be placed up for adoption.
Animals that are unsuitable for adoption such as chickens and fighting dogs will be euthanized.
hell some times i was i was illegal immigrant hell i would have free health care for me and my kids free education hell don't have to pay taxes and wow my kids can go to all the good school for free. humm maybe i should go to Mexico and get a citizenship there and cross over and say I'm an immigrant give me my free stuff please.........as for the pets they where born in the USA so they are American they would stay with us and we would care for them and find good homes for them all.

Who cares pets is the last thing anyone is worried about. Pets don't clog up the schools, highways, hospitals, etc.

Depends on the animal and nationality of the illegal alien.
Some cats and dogs are eaten by other illegal aliens.
Some dogs are used in illegal dog fights by other illegal aliens.
Some pets are taken by neighbors.
Some are just abandoned (by definition illegal aliens are people who disregard laws).
How about another unenforced immigration law - Prohibit illegal aliens from owning pets!
If you care about the animals help keep the illegals out of the country!

Since when do illegals give a crap about what happens to their pets anyway? I´ve seen how they treat them. Instead of buying them pet food they give them scraps off the table, they don´t put them on leashes and let them roam around the neighborhood and the pets get into trash bins and get hit by cars. The illegals don´t care. They don´t have the same respect and love for animals that we have in American culture.
Your just worried that their dog fighting rings will be put to death. All 20 million people don't have pets and we do have no kill shelters as well. If they meet an untimely death it's their fault for not planning. I've never met one who actually "cared" about an animal unless it was to make money or eat. So spare me.
Honestly I never see illegals even having animals so I really don't think it would be a problem. When illegals leave where I live they just leave their pets behind to starve. This is another reason why they do not belong here, humans, the environment and even animals suffer because of illegal immigration. I say get them all out of here-and I will help in anyway I can to make it happen.
Sorry but is that my problem? If having a child that is a citizen doesn't help the ILLEGAL alien criminals stay, why would a pet? Deport them all!
We have enough problems to deal with. Spot & Fluffy are their problem.
animal shelters will take them and place them with good homes , if the animals are not to vicious. if they are vicious then they will put the animal down. i have 2 dogs, 1 peek and 1 Chihuahua. question to you. how are they able to afford to feed a pet if they have to come here to feed their family's? i would rather see a pet put down then thrown on the street to get hit or starve to death. THAT is the worst thing any one can do to a pet.
