How come illegal aliens shop in thrift stores and yard sales?

For the same reason many of us do --- it saves money! I have shopped at both for many years. I can't see paying full price for something I can get for less. When my children were young, I shopped at thrift stores because I could get a lot more clothing for my budget --and they usually outgrew their clothes before they wore out!

Many, many Americans also shop at this type of store because of the low wages they are getting because they have to compete with the Illegal. The illegals shop there because they are sending their money home to their families in their own countries to hold for them until they return there and live like Kings with American dollars.

Good answer mild_irri that is so true! All walks of life shop in there for the great deals. I donate stuff there all the time sometimes stuff barely worn yet I dont shop there, i do know a few people thet do and seem to always come out w/ something great.

What are you talking about.I also have shopped at some garage sales and the occasional thrift store.There is nothing wrong in that.Its a great way to recycle.We are a very wasteful nation. So why not let some one have or buy the things you no longer need.?
I have found beautiful planters and vintage art glass at garage sales....I'm white,never watch Springer and the farthest away from trash you will ever see........But I'm not a snob to a bargain..

I helped some friends with yard sale in nice section of Seattle. Admiral District. Must have been about eight households involved with yard sale.
Had to give numbered tickets and have people form line to come through and peruse items for sale.
People showed up 90 minutes before sale was to start.
Mostly white people.
Yard Sales are great.....
thrift stores usually benefit a charity of some sort.
