We'd get better medical and health care over-all, we'd get better social security retirement, our property taxes would drop, less garbage taken to the dumps or picked up off the roadsides, our wages would go up with each cost of living, and really the fact is that it would be the TAX PAYERS that would save TRILLIONS of dollars - not billions. Government likes to spend it on stupid things, and frivolous things. Example - the bridge to nowhere thanks to the Alaskan Governor. The under ground Congress/tourist building - right outside the capitals doorways and windows. Went from a 125 million dollar project to almost 1 billion in dollars, and still not finished. Testing and tasting the likes of ketchup, Earl Grey teas, etc, for flavor and thickness. Building ships and planes that will never sail or fly, yet still have them built.
As for America would crumble without illegals... No because economy analysis say America would be thriving and well off anyway.

Now that's a hard one to answer.I think we have plenty of jobs to go around.The fact that Mexicans take jobs that are harder doesn't neccessarily mean jobs are scarce or that Americans don't work hard.Many of us do.I think the average American thinks they are worth more pay than they actually are.Thus putting companies in a position of either closing or hiring someone at less pay.One of the reason for out sourcing to other countries is this same problem.So in essence people should be thanking the Mexicans for keeping jobs in the states and not in China or India which is where they will go if they HAVE to hire all Americans.Then Americans will really know what backbreaking work Mexicans do becuase they won't have many choices for jobs that aren't.

No, we don't need illegal immigrants. This is the thing I don't understand. If our country needs more workers, wouldn't it be better if we just increase the quota for letting people in this country. Legal immigrants can do just the same amount of work. They would be payed better and treated better, too.

the effect of economy without migrants is scary because of the external shocks we feel from China, Japan , Europe. Labor rates would rise compared to countries overseas if we deported all of them. Producers would have no choice but to relocate production overseas. Farmers would have to shut down go the Mexico to have people work the fields, and were more dependant on other countries for fruits and vegtables. Yes, housing would be cheaper with less people in the country, but then you putting contractors, builders, roofers, carpenters out of work actually. Actually, deport 12 million of them and watch more jobs get shipped overseas, and the dollars will rise in value to other currencies, and that would make Benarke raise interest to upwards to 10% to control the inflation costs assoicated with food, construction labor, credit cards laiblities. Amercia would not collaspe without illegal aliens, but we be in deep recession, and so would mexico if we deport 12 million. Trust me business can go country to without no problems, and people cant that what creates part of the problem in the first place. We used Mexicans to comsume more than are incomes allowed, and its more complex than people seem.
I think you covered a good part of it,but it's not that people don't realize the problems that come with illegal immigration. They either deny the problems out of some fear of being called a racist,or they don't realize the size and scope of the problem. Of course now we have the amnesty plan,which if it passes will cost the US tax payer a net loss of 2.5 Trillion dollars. In other words your grandkids get to pay taxes to subsidize the "cheap labor" that we get today.

Overcrowded schools, 2nd rate health care, overcrowed hospitals, schools, prisons. Every government and business will be compelled to hire these illegals to speak Spanish to the public.
Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid will be paid to illegals who have never contributed a cent into the system.

Kennedy wants to give them the country. I'd like to see him and his extended family move to Mexico. He cares much more for Mexicans that he does the U.S. citizens.

well illegals now recieve social security benefits and dont pay into it,they file taxes <earned income credit> and i have witnessed with my own eyes them calling other ppl they know to see who is claiming who and they claim people in mexico as well,they dont pay into that either, they send their kids to school knowing only spanish which dumbs down our children because the kid that doesnt speak english requires more attention, <my husband just talked to one his marines and she said she is teaching her kid spanish and they the schools can teach him english when he starts, he then told her ya thanks so while the teachers are having to teach your how to talk my kids doesnt learn jackshit ya thats a great idea! ) and not to mention the fact that they REFUSE to speak english even though they know how they dont want to assimilate and become americans they want americans to conform to them
We would save billions in education spending, and the overall performance of American students would increase because the illegals and their anchor babies are very poor performers in our schools. Also, we would not need as much energy because millions of people would have left our country; therefore, gasoline prices would go down!
However, the negatives are that many businesses would close because they no longer can obtain cheap labor: Mexican and Chinese restaurants, laundries, landscaping, motels, and crops would not be picked. Because of that, inflation would rise, and it would be hard to get some services.
We do need immigrant labor to work in the agriculture industry, so I am willing to allow those illegals who work in that field to stay in our country and become citizens if they choose. Also, having a guest worker program would be a good idea once we deal with the illegals.
Nope, not at all. When the illegals protested last year: traffic was better on the freeways, aside from the fact of taxes going down because the citizens of this country wouldn't have to make up the difference to cover their hospital bills and food.
When you have an Emergency, you can actually be SEEN and not have a bunch of illegal aliens sitting around taking up beds. Hospitals also wouldn't be closing like they are right now.
You could go into a Walmart and not have to deal with illegals crowding the isles and you would actually be able to communicate with others..unless of course they were VISITING the USA.
