Does anyone know if it is as hard to get into New Zealands employment market

In New Zealand, you have to prove that your trade is one no one else will do or no one else wants. Or you could be in a higher end trade, doctors, computer techs, trade between companies, etc.
Our son went to New Zealand, and had an extremely hard time keeping a job because of extreme rules as to who can work. They also have stringent citizenship rules.
I would say, from talking to my NZ daughter-in-law, it is easier to get into Australia than New Zealand.
I assume yes. They are less strict about their immigration than what Australia is. What trade is that you have? What with skilled migrants being accepted to Australia pretty much anyone with a trade and the right English skills can be accepted.
