Really.... I knew I was smelling Nachos and Corn Chips when I went to Yosemite Park. Seriously though, it's not the drug cartels that are to blame believe it or not...it's the crooked politicians and law enforcement that allow this stuff to happen.
The obvious solution would be to decriminalize the product in question. Illegal operations in parks would never be able to compete with agribusiness and tobacco companies.
I would worry more about wildfires in the National Parks out West right now.

I know they found some huge 'plantations' being tended by illegal immigrants in northern California in the national parks, and in Oregon. I wouldn't call that 'running' our parks, but it did make me see red and make me want border security all the more.
