So when America finally decides to kick all the illegal immigrants out...?
Answer:
the same thing that would happen to my son if I entered a country illegally and he had the legal right to stay - he would go with me. I suppose they could leave their children with relatives if they so choose. i view the answer the same as i would for anyone who broke the law and had to live with the consequences.
Deciding to kick them and actually being able to do so are two different things.
Typically when an illegal immigrant is deported, their American-born children go with them.
We need to close the border first. Then we throw them out.
Those children should go with their parents. Once they turn 18 they can come to the United States. It's thier parents that should raise these kids not us.
They leave with them.
I don't think that citizenship should be automatic if you are born within these borders. That is a crock, and it would solve half of the problem.
I think the only way someone born here would be able to claim citizenship would be if both parents are here legally at the time of birth. If they aren't, then the kid and the parent(s) would be deported. Again, I think this would fix a lot of the problems.
NEVER!!! We are the base of the economy in this country.
