Affidavit of Support?

Will u require a co-sponsor if your current income meets or exceeds the guidelines for the current year, but the last yrs tax returns from previous years are not suffcient? How does the uscis look at this?

Answer:
Are you referring to the I-864 or the I-134? Reason being is that there is no Joint (Co) Sponsor provision for the I-134 if your question is in regards to a K fiance or spousal visa, only a Sponsor. Just wanted to clear that up.

If you are referring to the I-864, only the most current year is now required, however many have found that they have still been required to submit the last 3.

See the below link for questions and answers put out by the USCIS regarding the I-864 Affidavit of Support.
The current year is most important. They will probably ignore the past years if you currently make enough. But get a co-sponsor, just in case.
I agree with the previous girl who answered this. Get a co-sponsor just in case, you do not want to delay the case by looking for a co-sponsor at the last moment.
Current year Only. Sometimes they dont even require to submit 3 years. But keep in mind some sponsor just in case.
