Where are our christian principles in dealing with illegal immigrants?
Answer:
Christian principles decimated a part of this nation you speak of, ever hear of Manifest Destiny? My people have had 500 years of your christian principles and we remain a strong, sovereign nation, I guess I should be thanking you for keeping us strong with all the adversity your christian principles have brought upon us.
Amen
I wish to know too.
no where.
If someone comes to this country legally and has problems, I fully support any effort to help them.
If you have broken the law and come across illegally, our duty is to help you get legal or give you enough to send you back.
Be ready to get stupid and very stupid responses with this question. Your are absolutely right and the good are very few.
who are you to know the difference between
good and evil??
are you God!!!
If you are so wonderful and Christian, tell all your friends to stop stealing from American taxpayers, murdering it's citizens, bringing drugs into America, and sneaking into the country illegally. Have these wonderful hardworking honest murdering welfare recipient drug dealers come here legally. Then we will talk.
The issue is , thank God, not about religion. It is about breaking the law. Why would I support someone who has to hide in the back of a truck, or crawl through a tunnel to get her, when there are bridges and roads that anyone can come in on, if they have the proper paper work. Ours is a open society, but, we do have laws.
Why is it considered less than "Christian" to obey the laws about immigration?
How is it "helping the poor" by aiding them in breaking the law considered to be "Christian"?
Trust me, if Jesus had waited and returned at this very moment in time, God would have made a way for Him to be and do any and all that He wanted Him to do.
One can appear to be compassionate with a claim of being "Christian" - but that doesn't make what they suggest in fact even close to what Jesus taught.
Jesus said "Go YE". I would suggest that if you really want to follow the teachings of Jesus about why so many come to the United States illegally - go to THEIR country and help them straighten out their mess so that there is no need to do so. Unless of course God directs them to "go" and God makes a way for them to do so (which most def. would not be done by an illegal act).
Jesus fulfills the law - not break it.
Oh please, how many "commandments" do illegals break every day
