I have some friends who are originally from Ecuador and my question has to do with US citizenship.?
Also, the two girls were born in Canada. When they become US citizens, can they hold duo or 3 country citizenships? The mother is originally from Ecuador but lived in Canada where the two girls were born. Can the mother hold duo citizenship with Ecuador and USA? Can the girls hold the same, leaving Canada out of the picture? This is difficult since the two girls were born in Canada.
I know the one girl would never renounce her Ecuadorian citizenship, but the other one likes the USA and would consider citizenship here. The mother has her roots from Ecuador but probably would be happy to be a US citizen. Please help me to understand all of this a little more clearly. I want to give them a very good answer to these questions. Thanks a million.
