Why do people have such a hard time understand why we need a closed boarder?

is it really that hard to understand?

perhaps its my inabilaty to use my emotions in decions, but i see that an open board is very illogical. if illegal immagrants come in so can every one else. who is every one else? gangs, drug dealers, terrorists, and all other scum. logicaly i think the best plan would be to close up bother barders patrol the coasts and making becomming a citzen a bit faster.

i am not aginst immagration seeing as how my father is mexican, but i have a greatter sense of protecting the nation and i place my family comming here as a very low priority.

what are your ideas?

Answer:
the folks understand it, the politicians sure don't.
You said it well. For our protection we want the borders closed, not to keep freedom wanting people out. I don't understand why it is so hard to understand either.
Mabey they will have second thoughts on an open border once Al-Quada terrorist come across.
Money speaks volumes. For some, not closing the borders is very profitable for them. Since their connections are better than those that see it as a treasonous act towards the american worker, the issue is mostly ignored.
If one dirty bomb goes off there would not be any need to have a border...this economy would be down the drain...people would be going to mexico looking for work.
Legal immagration is good for the US and good for Mexico.
If illegals Mexicans, Centeral Americans and South Americans can walk across then what is stopping the Terrorists for just walking in here....nothing
No, it's not hard to understand at all if you are an intelligent patriotic American. The people that don't understand it are the illegal aliens and the liberal left wing of this country that don't have enough brains to understand it.
Big business would rather have $5.00/hour illegals and be able to pay management $1M+ salaries. As long as business are outsourcing jobs, why not outsource management? Indian, Chinese, and Turkish managers are harder working than Americans and will work for one tenth of their Yankee counterparts.
You got it thinking without FEELINGS. And too many politicians looking for votes.

Also many people uneducated
you mean BORDER, learn to spell before you criticize illegal aliens
Here is a list of more spelling errors-
decions, open board, every one (no space),logicaly, bother, barders, making becomming, citzen, aginst, immagration, greatter, comming.
You sound like an illegal to me
I agree with you totally. People who think we should have an open border fail to realize that they're putting themselves, their families, their friends, their neighbors, etc. at risk.
I don't get it. Our borders should be closed to anyone who is not a U.S. Citizen. It will protect our borders and our U.S. Citizens. I also believe that if you want to come to the States, it should be required that you speak the English language...this is America after all!
It seems weird that i see anerican citizens outraged, but people in the government dont seem so alarmed by it. I believe we are being sold out mostly by our government; they've got something going with Canada and Mexico. Because you'd think if citizens screamed and protested this much, the government would at least do something, but they have ulterior motives.
