Why some people don't want immigrants to come and work?
Because some people were educated with the following beliefs:
less people = better lifestyle
more people = worse lifestyle
Which lead to not believe the following beliefs that their ancestors know to be true:
less people = worse lifestyle
more people = better lifestyle
It should be noted that the reason on why there are illegal workers are due the labor laws.
And things were better in the past when there were less labor laws.
Eliminate the labor laws and a lot of people would be happier.
What??? how would not letting illegals work force me to take a second job??!!! Now THAT is a bunch of bull crap.
If illegals were not allowed to work, the only difference would be companies making less profit. they would have to pay legal workers at least minimum wage. this policy was working just fine before so many illegals come over working for less wages. then they have the nerve to say that the country wouldn't operate unless they were working here. GET REAL!!!

There are too many and their children are ruining our schools. Not because they are bad but because they don't speak English and there are too many, and they are too poor to pay what education costs.

That is not true we all have jobs and work two or three if necessary. But I just found the poll on jobs in America and there are not the hiring powers today that used to be and there is a force within to not hire Americans? Or you didn't know that? Especially when the big Corps are being paid 10,000 dollars to hire that type of staff you are speaking of? Cheap labor is not affordable for the American citizen. Don't you see what is coming? The minimum wage vote is coming up? And then what? There are not enough jobs for our own? Why not stay in their own country and fight for their freedom like we did and will have to again soon? They need to build their own toilets and with their own money earned in their own countries and that is final.
There needs to be some sort of documentation. Today many of the middle class take their frustration out on the wrong people. Its not the Illegals that people should be taking their frustration they are trying to make ends meat also. If I where living in many of those countries I would probably do the same thing.
In this world you get paid mostly by your education and skills. Illegals are not really stealing anyones jobs. Its pure economics. If you do not have the skills and or education to where you can demand more than "sterotype" illegal immigrant that works many of the scum jobs of this country than you don't deserve to get paid more. That is why so many jobs are outsourced. If you have the same skills and education as someone in India and they are willng to work for less than guess what they will get the job. It is about money and helping the rich, just like people shop at wal-mart you want the most for your money and that is exactly what employers are doing and rightfully so. This is a capitalistic society you have to develop skills and get education. Please justify how just because someone is American they deserve to get paid more. It makes absolutely no sense.
This does not however mean that we should just let them in. Employers do need to start taking responsiblity and paying into medicare, social security, and all other forms of taxes like any other business would have to do. Some short of guest worker program basically.
As American's we need to be better and better by becoming higher educated with more skills. We should not have to compete with people in other countries and or illegal immigrants for jobs, we should make ourselves better. First thing Congress should be doing is making a more demanding education system that will propel American's higher where this shouldn't be an issue.

Let's ignore for the moment that the figures do not support the idea that there would be significant economic impact without the illegal workforce. Let's say you are right and we need cheap labor. We are NOT responsible for the poverty that exists in Mexico. If we really NEED cheap labor we can import them from Afghanistan where we ARE responsible for the poor conditions.
There are more than 4 billion people that are worse off than the Mexicans. Do you think Mexico should let them all in to do the jobs for less than native Mexicans would? Do you think if we let them all into the US we would somehow have a 3 day work week?
Why let them? In places of the country where illegals haven't swarmed yet, beds are made in hotels, dishes are washed, lawns are mowed by Americans. It's not just that you are wrong, or misinformed, you really have no argument.
first of all now days it does take 2 jobs or both spouces working to get buy these days , minimum wage dependin on where your at is 4 bucks to 6 75 an hour , there is no way a parent of even one child can survive on this type of pay and live comfortable i dont mean live to where they get everything they want but to where they dont have to worrie hey can i buy a galllon of milk .
im sorry if tey wernt here taking pay for basically nothing pepole ie citizens would be willing to take te jobs . but would u be willing to work for under 3 bucks when u know that the job is atleast worth 6 bucks an hour i think not . another thing i feel pepole complain aout pep on welfare well put them to work in the so callled jobs that americans dont want and then there will be less pepole on welfare meaning more money for there state etc

Americans had great paying jobs until Illegals came to the US. Now companies don't want to pay as much as they use to. So I'm not sure where you are getting your information from!
