Since we don't know who is and isn't legal, we can't say no illegal ever made anything better. However, the masses of illegals definitely make things worse. That is why there are limits on how many can come, so our services and schools can continue to function properly.

ah yes.. i love these questions, because i really hate what the hispanics have done to our country. the problem is,dude, that its all over. its too late to change it, you cant turn back time.so here's your choices; 1) just lay down and accept it. 2)move to new zealand 3)be patient, as global warming intensifies and we are all forced to compete for the same dwindling resources people will start to choose up sides and fight it out.borders wont have any meaning and people will adopt a sense of "us and them". the most obvious differences - race,language etc - wil be the basis for deciding who is us and who is them. it will all eventually work out.

Hey pro-legal... give it a break. You need to go to Latin America to see and learn how those people really are. They have buildings in Mexico City that are older than our country. And to see them from your perspective is not seeing them at all. And if you think you are better than them then go out and pick something in the fields and earn a living and complain that you are not getting paid enough and then go to the store and complain about the high price of the food and then...listen to someone complain about you because your at the bottom of the picking order.

My biggest problem with these illegals is they are used to and ok with a corrupt govt. Is that what they want here.

I agree with you in an areas with high rates of illegal immigration there is a higher precentage of crime rates and white flight is present. It is not just in the cities mentioned above, but in Southeast as well.
As a legal immigrant from former Soviet Union I have no respect for those who choose to come to this country illegally. My falks have spend time (3.5 years) in the gulags (working camps) for trying to leave Russia, but we still came to the US legally. I was even kicked ouf from school and was branded a traitor along with my family for wanting to leave communism, but it did not stop us from obtaining legal documentation and moving to the US legally.
My beef with the Mexican community is this Mexico is a democratic country with elections if they do not like their leaders they should elect other leaders. Yes, I know that there is a huge descrimination against certain groups in Mexico, but still it is a Democratic country they have no reason to come here illegally. America too has its problems with race and here in the Southeast I have noticed that African Americans are still looked down to as are the Jews, Muslims, and Gays. Yet, you do not see a flight of African Americans to Canada.
They can do what my falks did and apply to come to the states legally. Unlike in the former Soviet Union no Mexican will risk life in working camp by wanting to immigrate to the States.
Of course if they come here illegaly and they have no rules to deffend and they always no the look out against deportation of course there will be low self-esteem within their communities, and that can lead to crime as a way to prove that they have some control over their lifes.

First it is not a race, national or cultural thing. It is an economical thing. Poverty creates desperation and desperate behavior. Second, there is a filtration process. People that were successful or making a living in Mexico had no reason to leave. So the people that are pouring over the border illegally are the one that were not making a go of it already for whatever reason. Thirdly another layer of filtration, they have, every single one of them, already proven a willingness to break US law. They got here illegally (breaking the law) so they are are more likely to be of a mindset that other laws are just as breakable.
I have to answer AlunaticFriend. He states there are two kind of illegal immigrants hard working and the other are criminals. BOTH ARE CRIMINALS. Why are people onfused by this?
First "white flight" is the result of large groups of higher income "whites" leaving the area because they think that its going to go down hill, then of course since the they are the higher income earners and were what kept the community income up in the first place it instantly starts to go down. Self fulfilling prophecy. I've been in plenty of neighborhoods where large groups of migrant workers come in and the economy actually improves because people don't leave and the migrant workers add a larger population of consumers. On the other hand I've seen the same thing your talking about in other places where people leave quickly and it goes to crap. Of course I've seen the same thing happen albeit slower when large groups of African Americans or white Trash move into an area. Its not caused so much by the race of the people moving in as it is by the fear and ignorance of the people who decide to leave because they don't like how their neighborhood is changing.
It's so sad that because of the lack of intelligence we are subjected to have to read stupid questions as this. Instead of posting dumb questions why don't you find a solution to an existing problem. You are not really concerned about illegal immigration you are more concerned on teaching hatred, racism and ignorance. Like there aren't bad white families out there in the world. You don't hear about Mexican mother's drowning their babies in a car so they get rid of the pesty kids to keep the boyfriend.
If you served in the US military then you are a true citizen because you put your life on the line to protect us and our ideology. If you immigrated to the United States (legally or not), then you are a true citizen because you went through hardships in your life and are truely out to achieve the American dream. Everyone else who are US citizens, you were just lucky enough to come out of your mother's vagina in US soil.
