do i need a dregree?as i wish to become involved in fashion mabey a store buyer is this enough to get mr into liveand work in america???xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Answer:
yes, get a degree...

the best option (apart from marrying a local of course) is to get good A-Levels, and apply to study for your degree at an American University ...

Once you are already studying over there, your chances of being able to stay and work are vastly improved...

you do have alternatives tho, why not head to one of the European centers of fashion for your education and post-degree training (Paris, Milan, oh, how about LONDON?) then when you have your degree and experience, you will find it easier to apply for and get a job that includes a working VISA in the US...

talk to your schools career advisor about what A-Levels you need for a degree in fashion and design...

I put a couple of links below too..

good luck

Dream on, you will be stuck in Rotheram for the rest of your life
where do you live now then, india?
Do you want to immigrate? You can do so only: based on employment; marriage. Or you can become a student and go there to study. If later, eventually you will have to go back.
who knows if AMERICA will still be there by the time you reach 18; that's one bet I wouldn't take.
You're ambitious for a 14-year-old!

You have to be aware, though, that you can't get work (or even look for it) just because you want to get into the fashion industry. You can only gain entry into the US on the basis that your talents/skills are exceptional.

If you are a top-notch fashion designer and a US design house simply cannot exist without you, you will be able to get a work visa. You could also go in on an L visa as a fashion writer (provided you had all the requisite educational and other qualifications). But you can't realistically expect to have achieved enough professionally to get a visa by the time you're 18.

Most work visas require a minimum of a bachelor's degree. However, if you are renowned in your field or have excelled in your discipline on an international level and there aren't enough Americans in that particular discipline that you might take the job an American is fully capable of doing, you don't necessarily need the BA. Individual applications are judged on their merits.

Just be the best you can be, achieve all you can and keep dreaming. And maybe one day you'll achieve enough to get to live and work in America.
You need to talk to the proper authorities. Please go through the proper, legal channels to come over. We have enough illegals disrespecting us, and breaking our immigration laws. If you choose to become a citizen legally then God speed to you, and I wish you well.
you better hurry cause if we going to have another
president like Bush!?
well I don't think America will be here for long
just do not marry an America woman
if you don't know why yet listen this song very carefully

Philip gives a very good answer. As an immigrant from the UK to the USA, my experience is that it would be much better if you were to come to the USA to study. Work visas are becoming very hard to get.

With a study visa you would have to be able to fund your own studies, which is tough for most students. However, if you can do that, your American degree would be more valuable in getting a job in the USA than a degree from any other country. That does not make it right, but that is how it is.

With a study visa, you would not be guaranteed permission to stay in the USA after your studies end. You would have to apply to re-adjust your status.

Life in America is different from the UK. Have you considered spending a summer, after finishing high school, working in the USA? You could probably get a job working at a summer camp. It will be hard work, but you would get at least a taste of what life is like here.
You don't need a degree, although you will need a lot of money to open your own store and in a good location too. Also, the competition is tough but I wish you the best of luck! :)
