I am immigrating to Canada from the US. I need to obtain a police certificate from ohio. HOW?!?

I got the police certificate (background check) from the FBI without a problem but apparently no-one from Ohio has ever immigrated to canada. I am originally from Lorain county but I am living in Montreal. I have my fingerprints ready but where do I send them?

I would think to the local police station - Probably in person though .

In Canada (as I am sure you know) it;s called a CPIC and in order to avoid me going in with your finger prints they want me to show up in person -

In Ohio it may be different .

Call your local MP in Montreal and ask how - They ussually like to help out with stuff like that esp when there might be an election soon
