How do i replace my cuban certified birth certificate?

i live in new jersey for about 20 yrs, and i am recently getting married, and noticed that i misplaced my birth certificate and password from cuba. i am not a citizen, but do have green card. please advise

Answer:
I would contact your local immigration office. Before you do that, be sure that your green card is valid, if not don't contact immigration. Immigration should have a copy of all your paperwork from when your green card was issued. Your old passport is probably expired by now anyway. I am unsure if permanent residents such as yourself can apply for a US passport. Immigration would be able to advise on how you can travel abroad. If immigration can't help you, contact a Cuban embassy. There is one in Guyana and Canada. You can also try an immigration attorney, a consultation to answer your questions shouldn't cost too much.
See if the immigration people have a copy of your birth certificate on file. Then maybe you can get a copy. Otherwise go to the Cuban Consulate and get their help.
