What is your opinion on illegal immigration?
Answer:
I think it is wrong because it breaks the law, but in the other hand, there are ppl who starve in their countries, who have a family, and one thing that many ppl don't know, is that most of the illegal immigrants tried to do it the right way, but because of their social status in their country, their own country denied them a VISA, or any other necissary permissons to cross. So literaly they are between the wall and a sword.
It is breaking the law!
It sucks! We are being forced to accept all the bull that is shoveled our way and expected to say nothing. I am sick of hearing about everyone elses rights while mine just get swept away. You want to come to this country YOU fukin assimilate.
It sucks and its against the law
its stupid, if you want ot come into our country you mind as well do it right and just get the papers atleast! then learn some of our language too...
There is no such thing as illegal 'immigration'. There are illegal aliens in this country. They are criminals and should be returned to their own country. But they are not immigrants.
I am against it! They should all be rounded up & sent home! What is to keep a terroist from crossing those same boarders? If we can't keep illegals out; we can't keep anyone out. No one who comes into this country illegally should be allowed to stay. Anyone who hires them without the proper paper work should be sent to jail & fined like crazy! Our boarders are too open, even the one with Canada. Canada is our friend & we don't want to keep them out but something has to give here.
First off let me state that I'm half hispanic so I can avoid the whole "you're being racist" thing...
Our border along Mexico has become very porous and lawless. It's this lawlessness that makes me angry. I'm sure plenty of illegals just come over with good intentions but there are also ALOT OF CRIMINALS who are taking advantage of our lax border with Mexico.
I was ruthlessly robbed by a couple of illegal Mexicans at the antique shop where I worked. This was NOT just a quick grab some cash and run type robbery either. It was what police call a "takeover robbery". I was forced to empty out the register then I was bound and gagged while they took everything they could load into their truck. They even took a freaking bath tub.
So while I think most illegals are not robbers, the system is definitely broken and the US is letting in vicious criminals with no way to track them down.
the immigrants are good people..WE are workers,we deserve an anmisty
It`s awful, but I support good people that need to live in another countries, but poeple that just move by delinquency I don't support them.
I think the U.S. should fix it's immigration system that way people can come here legally Americans don't seem to realize that if you are from certain countries such as Mexico it is almost impossible to come to the U.S. legally so I personally think that the U.S. needs to fix it's immigration system and as for the undocumented immigrants who are already in the U.S. they should be given a path to citizenship.
I pay taxes, they don't. They don't deserve any benefits until they are legal citizens and pay taxes like the rest of us.
It's a very complicated issue, that has to be looked from many perspectives before making a final judgement.
America is a great country thanks to all the good immigrants who have gotten there. (Starting from the first ones)
Now, what would the original American Indian tribes have thought about this question...? mmmm
It's bad, obviously. Illegal aliens are slowly ruining this country. The sad thing is, no politicians will do anything about it. Unfortunately, we have a President who continues to ignore the problem. To make matters worse, the next President will probably be a democrat who gives all the illegals amnesty, further encouraging more illegals to cross the border. We, as a country, are doomed.
it's illegal nothing to explain. round them up and send them back or better yet make it impossible to live here.
It is driven by the need for labor in the United States. If there wasn't the need for labor, there would be no "illegal immigration". I believe that our immigration laws need to be updated to allow more people in to fulfill out needs--while helping them to live dignified lives, not always on the margins.
I believe the problem would be alleviated if we were to institute a guest worker program.
That answer has been in for a long time. All the facts CLEARLY indicate that there is nothing positive about illegal immigration.
There is nothing cheap about labor that costs about 20 billion dollars a year more than they contribute. Next to oil, Mexico's largest income producer is from illegals sending money home.
Despite what that idiot Feinstein has to say they do NOT hide in the shadows. I see them every day without having to look for them.
My opinion? Deport them all upon discovery. Try those that aid and abet (that would include Bush and all the illegal supporters in the congress) and throw them in a Mexican prison.
They are knowingly, and openly breaking our laws, not only that of being here illegally, but also knowingly using stolen ID and SS cards to get jobs and other things. Illegal immigration must be stopped.
It's not that complicated. Send Them Back!! It's not fair that our tax money is being spent to cover their expenses of living here. They're bringing more crime into our country and were slowly being invaded. This isn't really America any more it's more like Mexica. It thoroughly annoys me.
I don't care where they came from, what color they are, or even if they are gay, it makes no nevermind to me, but the fact that they are "illegal" immigrants is enough to piss me off. If you want to come to this country, wait your turn, pay your taxes and learn english, is that too much to ask for? People say that we are all immigrants, and that may be true, but if all these people have done it lawfully, why cant the ones who want to be citizens do the same? Also, to those who say the native americans have the same argument must remember that the world was a different place back then. Its sad but true.
It's illegal. No doubt there. People who come to the US and get an education need to go back and make changes in their country. It would mean a revolution for Mexico. Mexicans have a responsibility to resolve the desperate circumstances in their native country. The day is coming when they will not be allowed to continue to drain our resources. We have been and continue to be generous. But we have reached our limit.
It is a criminal offense.
