Why do illegals and their supporters believe that we are all illegal immigrants?

they make no sense. all they are doing is grasping straws. I'm no immigrant, my blood line goes back to 1620. I'm a native American to this country. 14th amendment also states the child is American if the parents give up allegiance to their old country. if they don't then their kids are not Americans.
Anchor baby's,,,, ha ha ha,,, they don't give the parents citizenship any more,,, that was stop back when Regan was president,,,, ha ha,,,, u need to get with the current law., that is why so many people are being deported and they kids stay behind,,, do you even read the newspaper,, watch the news?
I don't believe they all feel that way ... but it is hypocritical to believe that
this country was built on immigration ... the problem to me is what to do with all the illegals in the country not paying taxes
we can't just give them a free pass, that would be screwing over all the people who have been trying to immigrate legally ... and most of the illegals are doing jobs no American will do, so we can't just send them home, they are too poor to make it back ... I'm at a loss
call me crazy but, won't opening our doors make us safer ... for closing our doors will certainly bring more violence
as for terrorism ... it has to be fought at a local, law enforcement level ... an army can't fight a battle tactic

Nobody can claim that ‘anchor babies’ provide a boost to the US economy. Anchor babies are babies of immigrants that are born in the US. Based on a MISINTERPRETATION of the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution, these babies are granted immediate US citizenship.
Anchor babies born of illegal immigrants are granted immediate US citizenship. Immigration officials seldom initiate deportation proceedings against illegal aliens with anchor babies, so they simply remain here illegally. After all what heartless bureaucrat would deport illegal immigrant parents and separate them from their newborn?
Since anchor babies are considered citizens they instantly qualify for public welfare which means they gain access to free medical care, schools, housing, food stamps, and all the other benefits of our welfare state.
The author of the 14th Amendment and the US Supreme Court recognized that an alien mother and her baby are subject to the jurisdiction of their native country – not the US. The 14th Amendment wasn’t created to provide an end run for aliens to defy US immigration laws. But politicians have subverted the Constitution and allowed citizenship to any child born in the US.
Several members of Congress have recognized that the 14th Amendment has been misapplied and was never intended to grant citizenship automatically to anchor babies. But when the issue is addressed, advocates for illegal immigrants will claim that they are racists and want to punish the children.
The anchor babies have become the justification for the entire extended illegal alien family to stay in the US. This will continue until the Congress has the fortitude to clarify the ignored phrase and deny citizenship to those who are not subject to the jurisdiction of the laws of the US and that's ANYONE who isn't living in the US legally.
