Canadian people, is truth that u need people that emigrate to Canada?

Soon I'm going to be a bookkeeper , and I'm thinking to live in another country, Am I welcome to your country??' I heard that Canada's presidential government is needing people to live there, is that true??? help me!!!

Answer:
Canada faces a critical shortage of skilled workers. Many Canadians are flocking to the United States for higher salaries, and there is a fear that the shortage of skilled workers could grow to one million by 2020.

The Bank of Canada recently suggested that a shortage of skilled workers in Canada is spreading beyond high-tech industries, forcing employers in numerous other sectors to compete for a shrinking pool of qualified labor. Industries now experiencing employment shortages include construction trades, truck transportation, engineering, food services, and accommodation.

To increase the skilled employment pool in Canada, legislation has been introduced to make it easier for immigrants to enter the country.
I'm not Canadian but have looked into this. It is very much the truth. Canada needs good people and will take just about anyone. That's why I'm not sure I'd want to live there.
Couldn't be any worse than the USA though.
I disagree with Juan ( the guy above me). Canada is increasing the number of allowable immigrants, but do not accept just anyone. Since the grief we took over 9/11, we've improved screening. Our immigration officals, border agents and police are doing a much better ensuring the bad guys stay out.
I would like to know more myself cause this place is getting way out of hand here and I have just about had enough. Friends of ours went to Australia a few years back and came back telling us they ran into more Americans down there than they ever thought imaginable.
actually that's not true of Canada.Yes we need good people but you can just come get a good paying job here it doesn't work quite that easy for someone coming here to work.first you must apply for a visa to work, then you must prove you have Job to come to,you must provide all original documents ,and prove you have the right skills, then you must apply for visa to stay as a working immigrant, and you also have to have a sponsor to make sure you don't get into trouble with the law,and you must reside with that sponsor for 2 years.......so yes we need good people but its not as easy as you think to get here and live OH1one more thing Canada does not have a president Hes a priminister
Make sure you're good at the English language though as that is our main language spoken except in Quebec of course.
Some parts of Canada badly need workers, but others do not.

Those badly in need of workers are the western provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

My advice: go to a Canadian Embassy, high commission or consulate. Do not -- repeat not -- rely on private immigration consultants as they are sometimes dishonest or incompetent.

Also, work on your English.

I might also mention the Canada does not have a president. Our form of government calls for a prime minister, who is the head of the government.
