Why Cant I live in america?

why am i stuck in italy? is it cuz my life sucks?

Answer:
You can live wherever you want to. Just follow the rules of the country you want to live permanently.
I think you said it all!
Write to Rudy Giuliani and get on the next flight out of Italia....
come on over. Christopher Columbus and his hoodlums came over and killed the Indians; there is an easier way.
I don't know if your life sucks..but you can live here, just come here legally.
I have no idea. Have you tried to get a visa to come to America?
Just come to America legally and you can live here. That's what my wife's family did two generations ago.
For the same reason i can't live in Heaven..I don't qualify..:)
i wish you could
Cuz you live in Italy your life sux
sorry
That must suck in government class at school. To my understanding Italy has had 45 different gov'ts since the fall of Mussolini in 1945. Considering that was only 60 years ago...

But its okay, I bet you can get the best espresso around.
Don't come here. The world hates us, we're being invaded and Hillary is the lead presidential candidate. Can we all come to Italy?
Immigration to the US is for Mexicans only. Well some other Latinos too, but mostly Mexicans.

get some counseling show us you are of sound mind and body before you apply to emigrate
Hey, life can indeed by difficult. It can seem that a change in where you are will offer a new chance with a clean slate. In some situations a clean slate can be of great benifit in changing one's life. Starting "fresh" where nobody knows you or of your past, where perhaps there are better opportunities may bring about postive change in a life. However, leaving everything and everybody you know behind is not always the answer. Is it in your situation? Well, only you can answer that question, as you are the only one who truely knows what you are dealing with and how bad things are for you.

Now, coming to American, or the U.S of A. can be very difficult under our current immagration laws. You have to have money and a job skill and then you have to apply and wait a long time. It is so difficult now for a person to immagrate here who does not have a load of cash and anyone who will sponser them. Even if a person does have the financial ability to come to the U.S. s/he has to have a sponser, somebody who will take personal and financial responsibility while the immigrant is getting on his/her feet. If you don't know anyone here in the U.S. coming can be most difficult indeed. In such situations an individual must show a high financial ability to support him/herself while waiting for a job. The individual must show s/he will not be asking for any support from the Federal or State governments where s/he wishes to live. If a person has a hardship s/he may be able to come for certain reasons but these are rare cases. This is a situation where the individual can prove government harrassment, or mistreatment and asks for asylum here. If you are being subjected to religious persecution or government persecution due to telling the truth of a crime or curruption in your government, or if you are at risk of imprisonment due to political beliefs which go against a government, or if you are at risk of other human indignities such as forced into a marriage at a very young age, subjected to another form of human indignity then you can request help from our government. You would have to do some research on what exactly these programs are and who to contact.

Leaving your home country will be difficult. If you do not know anyone here who can sponsor you and if you do not have a proficient ability in the english language it will be very isolating here for you while you learn. Even if there is somebody who can sponser you it will still be a shock to you when you arrive. As you are in Italy, and not a middle eastern descent, it may not be quiet the culture shock, but it will still be vastly different than your homeland. The laws here are different, and the customs are also vastly different. Even here the culture you experiance will be determined by which area of the country you wish to live in. For example it is vastly different on the East coast than on the West coast, and from the mid-western states to even a different area of one state. California has vast differences from the southern section over the northern section. How deeply populated the area is will also affect your experiance here. If you live in a large city or a smaller town differences abound. You must be prepared by having extensive knowlege and understanding of where you choose to live once you arrive here.

Now, if you are simply wishing to leave due to personal problems that have nothing to do with wanting protection or a better life in general then I strongly suggest you really think this through. The cultural differences and the fact you will be leaving everything and everyone you know behind can be much more difficult and wrenching than you may expect. If you are having personal problems such as family troubles or difficulty with your job(s) perhaps the better action would be to focus on working them out in your own homeland. Each of us have our own difficulties in life and it is possible to work through them and not leave the area you live in. If you are being mistreated by family or friends perhaps you should consider who you choose to have relationships with. It is within our power to decide who we will allow close to us and who we will not. If you are having problems with your boss or with your coworkers perhaps you should consider enrolling in a conflict resolution program if such is available where you live. Often simply learning new skills in how to cope with stress, how to manage our lives better by instituting bounderies and working on anger and childhood injuries will allow us to heal and develope skills which enable us to have better lives.

I don't know what your situation is but from the little you wrote you sound very unhappy and seem to feel like a victem. If you do feel like a victem of others on a regular basis that is a sign of not having good self esteem, lacking self confidence, lacking interpersonal relationship skills and a lack of healthy bounderies. If you are experiancing these difficulties just moving to a differernt area or to an entirely new country will not resolve them. You will take these issues with you regardless of where you decide to reside. Now, I am not judging you or saying you so have any of these issues, I can't as you provided so little information other than to say your life sucks and you wish to immagrate to America. So, please do not take offense if I say something that does not apply to you. If it does apply please do not take offense about that either as I am just trying to respond and offer assistance, not judge you or offend you.

You obviously have access to a computer as you posted here. This means you can do some research on immagration rule and law here in the U.S. I suggest you start with immagration and find out what your options are and what you need to do to receive a visa. It is a starting point and from there you can begin doing what is needed to achieve a visa and come here to begin the citizen application. Now, this costs a bit of money so you may have to save for awhile and you also may need to find a sponser. But if you get started then you are one step closer to being able to come to the U.S and start a new life here.

Here are a few sites to get you started on your research:

Good luck and I hope you find what you are looking for. Have a great day and a wonderful life.
The only thing that stops anyone from living in America is that person's own proclivities.
You probably do not have right of abode in the U.S. Is one of your parents or grandparents or your spouse a U.S. citizen?

Italy is a fantastic country. Like all countries, if your life sucks because you don't have a job you like or you live in a dreary place, you simply have to strive to improve your conditions at home. A little hint: the poverty level in the U.S. is way lower than the poverty level in Italy, even if the median GDP is higher. The median GDP in the US is slanted because there are so many millionaires and billionaires. If you look at the average worker's wage, you will find that it is less than the average in every country in the EU with the exception of Greece and the 2004 entrants. The earnings below which you are living in poverty in Italy are about 30k euros for a family of four. In the US it is about 15,000 dollars - 12,500 euros gross income (before tax). Now, tell me - does your family of four live on less than 12,500 euros before tax? I don't think anybody in Italy does, but over a quarter of Americans do. Also bear in mind that Americans have far less government-regulated leisure time and holiday time than EU citizens. The average annual holiday leave for US workers is 2 weeks a year, compared to 5 weeks a year in the EU.

Having said that, if you have an entrepreneurial spirit, you have better opportunities to explore free enterprise in the US (provided you are in the country legally). There is far less regulation generally (except in the financial services industries). And of course taxes are much lower in the US than in Italy. Be aware, though, that some of the social advantages you enjoy in the EU are not available to you in the US, such as free or subsidized healthcare. Depending on your age, you may be ineligible for a government pension or Medicare when you retire because you will not have contributed enough and the system is already under an enormous strain.

If you have considerable assets, you can attain residency by starting a business employing Americans. If you have that kind of money ($250,000 minimum on top of the money you need to live), then healthcare and other costs will probably not be a problem for you.
Go to Canada, everybody else is. Except the Mexicans, and they're trying, they just can't walk that far.

LOL!
