Help with Citizenship?

I have migrated to the US over 35 years from Jamaica and I am a legal alien. I have 2 houses and family and an excellent job. Do you think I should file for US Citizenship even though I am planning to retire in 4 years in Jamaica.

Answer:
If you aren't going to permanently stay in the U.S., then no, you shouldn't bother applying for citizenship.
Why not duel OK man
There is no reason not to. That way you can always come back to the States anytime you want and you are always going to be considered Jamaican there so it's not like you are loosing anything.
if you here over 4 years you are eligible for citizenship. It can only benefit you and you can retire anywhere. Good luck
