Getting US Citizenship?

I have been an legal permanent resident in the United States since 1971, do you think its time to become a US Citizen. If so can I get it for free if I cannot afford it.

Unless you have a criminal record and want to challenge deportation hearing... then, you'll have to hire a lawyer. The real answers are at your nearest US Immagration and Naturalization office. I recommend you vistit it to find the answers to your questions.
you have to pay, if you are living here and working you can save for it. its not that much.

Please, yes become a citizen, but pay your own way. Why in the world should the citizens of this country extend the gift of a green card, and then have to pay for you to enjoy all that American has to ofter
