Once your fiance sends back the checklist along with all the forms in Packet 3, the Consulate will send him a letter with an appointment date and instructions for his interview. Unfortunately London is scheduling appointments approximately 4-8 weeks out. If the interview is successful, he will receive his visa and be able to join you in the US.

I went though the same thing and it took 11 months for my wife to come to the USA from Brasil, but it was worth it. First of all, your fiance would not be approved yet unless they have gone though Medical exam and the Police backgound check. The only advice I can give is to get a Immigration Attorney to help you. It might make things go faster but it will cost you some money. But there are people who can help you at much lower cost with filling out paperwork, because if you make a mistake on a form you don't know what you did wrong intill a month later adding to your delay on when your fiance will get to the USA.
