The real question you should ask is if whether or not illegal immigrants paid for social services. Most people's agruement about illegal immigrants is they use government assistance at a higher rate than legal or natural born citizens, nearly bankrupting hospitals, school systems, and sometimes whole towns.

Of course it would. For the most part, it is NOT about illegal immigration, its about Mexican illegal immigration. You don't hear much about anyone else. I live in Texas, I have many Mexican friends and co-workers, I travel to Mexico on vacation, I even speak a little Spanish "hola"... I love Mexico, I don't have a problem with Mexicans. If the same issues we are currently having was taking place on the Canadian border the outcry from responsible concerned Americans would be exactly the same.
