Is the average American citizen misguided, confused and delusional to think the only reason why they are better
Answer:
oh, yeah, good question... at least we all know were better than you.
No, not at all,, next biased and pointless pro-illegal question please
None of the above.
You're missing the whole concept of the issue. ILLEGAL!! My friend what is the point of having laws if they aren't going to be followed??? Would you not mind if drove around your neighborhood drunk while your kids played outside just because I didn't feel like doing the legal thing and waiting until I was sober? I mean that is what illegals are doing just because they don't want to wait for a legal citizenship. It's against the law, and if we give the message that it's okay to break the law, then why do we have them?
NO, it's also because we are necessarily assimilated into a superior culture than the ones these people are trying to leave (yet bring along with them!).
Its not about us its about ILLEGALS.
If you want to be in Psi Chi you have to apply and get good grades (to the one above me).
Yes, I do think I am better than the illegal immigrant because I follow the laws. If the law (within reason) tells me that I must have citizenship or other legal documentation in a country, then I will have citizenship or legal documentation in that country.
As far as I am concerned, they are breaking the law. Yes, their stories may be sad, and it may be harder for them to live if they didn't do this, but it is the law of our land.
When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
No, the Average American Citizen is a law-abiding, moral, ethical human being who wouldn't think of breaking the laws or using their children to further their illegal acts. The "illegal" in illegal immigrant speaks the volumes. Who wants to be associated with criminals and lawbreakers? Who would trust a criminal or lawbreaker? Why should the average American Citizen give lawbreakers any respect whatsoever? They are liars, cheats and theives -- wolves dressed in sheep's clothing -- preying on the goodness of law-abiding Citizens and legal immigrants.
The average American citizen is too busy working, taking care of their families, taking care of their homes, and yards to meditate on such ignorant ideas.
US citizens are US Citizens because either 1. It is their birthright, the same as a person who is born in Mexico is a citizen of Mexico. Or 2. They worked hard, came in the country legally, and became citizens.
US Citizens work and pay taxes which are used to support entitlement programs. Programs, that only poor, sick, and disabled Americans should have access to.
It should be like when you are asked to bring a prepared dish to a potluck. You don't bring the food the you don't eat. Likewise, if you don't work and pay taxes, then you shouldn't derive any benefits from just sneaking in our borders and living here illegally.
I think that americans( I am a US american born and bred) are hating way too much on illegal immigrants...for something that isn't even a serious crime. It is a misdemeanor to come into the United States illegally. It is not much more serious than stealing a pack of gum, and less serious of a crime than vandalizing property...A misdemeanor! Yet we treat them like dirt! Like they are the worst criminal in the world. Yes some of them do things like steal identities, make fake id's(uh didn't a lot of us do that when we were younger and wanted to get in a bar underage?), rape, and murder(we are all human and we see more murder and rape everyday by our own people than any other), but for the most part, the only crime they committed was coming here illegally and that certainly doesn't deserve the kind of attitude I think americans are showing. We certainly aren't setting an example for our children on how to treat people. We are lashing out at the wrong people when we should be lashing out at our government for making it so easy. I don't care who you are but if the US was the poor country and we all knew it was easy to get to mexico and work for more money and take care of our children, don't you think we'd do it? People do what they can to survive and we would all do the same thing if it came down to it...and it's sad that we are treating them like low lifes and not focusing more on the hardened criminals, the murderers, the rapists, the drug dealers,.
You'd better watch it mate, im warning you.
This guy is full of crap and keeps harassing me PLEASE REPORT HIM and make sure he can't use your details to contact you as he will send you threatening emails, and he also will go through your questions and leave stupid snide remarks.
The only reason I would consider myself better is that I came by my citizenship HONESTLY. I don't steal from you, that makes me better.
No, it is because we are legal and they aren't. There is a legal process to enter this country and become a legal resident and obtain citizenship. When it is followed, then the legal immigrate will feel the same way against the illegal immigrates, because they did it the right and correct way. Most, that follow the legal route feel worse towards the illegals than the homegrown US citizen.
Woo. You are trying to turn this into a snobbish issue? This all boils down to people breaking the law of the country that they are in. I don't know were your from but all these right and privileges that I have as an American didn't come free. Many men had to fight and die so that all of us "misguided, confused and delusional" citizens can live this way. anyone that would care to join me and go through the proper channels to get here!
None of the above, if we try to go to another country, we have to do the paper work, so should they. Do it legal or stay the hell out.
