*sigh* Okay... Now... I'm not sure why you're really asking this question. The majority of churches, like the majority of the rest of America, feel that illegal immigration is WRONG. And whether you like it or not, the church is a MAJOR force for morality and a MAJOR government influence here in America. It's a simple fact.

No one with any true religious beliefs would stand for the church interfering with the government. Jesus Christ said, "Give unto Caesar what is Caesar's. Give unto God what is God's." Jesus did not condone breaking the laws. God delivered the 10 Commandments on a table of stone to Moses. Some of those commandments are: Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not lie. Thou shalt not covet. Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not commit adultery. How is the Church's promotion of illegal immigrants law-breaking ways and granting them amnesty not a violation of God's Laws? It would seem to me that the Church is currently in league with the Devil and is violating God's laws across the board.

I know the Catholic Church seems to support the illegals,they seem to argue that they support it on humanitarian grounds. However this is the same Catholic Church that did nothing about their priests raping little kids for over 40 years,so I really don't give their opinion much weight. And if they get themselves too involved in politics they should have their tax exempt status revoked,it would be nice to see the biggest business in the world pay taxes for once anyway.

if the church takes this stand in the face of what the law of the land is then the tax exempt status of the church should be taken away and they should be made to pay all the taxes they do not have to pay now, Jesus took care of this question once before but evidently this church is not of the true word or it would understand what Jesus meant when he said to give unto Ceasar that which is Ceaser's
