I have lost my passport issued at hyderabad , year of issue 1990 and year of expiry 1995.?

I wat to make F.I.R, I have not noted the number , I have sent many emails to trace out yhe number. But there was no response. please help me what shall i do now? My contact no 9811719581 DELHI. E mail vijayblow@yahoo.com

I cannot speak for overseas, but in the US, you would just reapply, noting on a special form that your most recent passport is lost and expired. If you have the number, great; if not, don't worry about it.

You submit the birth certificate, two passport pictures, show your valid photo ID and pay for it. I can only assume, the procedure if about the same the world over.
Just don't panick. Go to the pp office and ask clerk. He will tell you.
You will not find it.
You can report loss of passport without its number etc.
Go to Passport Office for details. Submit your details and you may get details.
Normally details of previous passport necessary for application for re-issue.
