Should the scottish bishop be prosecuted under the treason laws by exerting undue influence against mps and?
Answer:
Adherents of any religion must accept the basic tenets of their professed faith. In the Roman Catholic Church, one of those tenets amounts to opposition to abortion. If anyone cannot accept such constraints, there are no grounds for them to take Communion. The choice rests with each MSP who happens to be RC. If they choose to support abortion, they cannot be surprised if they are not permitted to take Communion. It has nothing to do with an Archbishop controlling MSPs' votes.
I don't believe its the same, as Treason.
