Do Californians really hate immigrants from Mexico?

My biggest gripes on immigrants from Mexico is that some do not take the time to learn the prevailing language of the community they live in and still wave the Mexican flag on US soil. If the country was so great then why do they immigrate to the US? I don't mind the immigration rallies, since that is how this nation was built upon, but please be educated about the country and waive the correct flag(US Flag). Also don't assume that because I look like I speak Spanish that I do.

I am a Californian and I don't. I guess down in San Diego it looks different. But I think it's a big push by republicans and such Bushists, they hate evryone who's not white and western.
No, most Californians have at one time or another been illegal aliens from Mexico. Mexico used to own Texas and the Southwest and California - we are the ones who took it away from them, so, technically it was their home a long time before it was ours.

Youre right Mexican immigrants dont cause any problems, but their offspring do. I am a mexican and my mom is illegal so this isnt a racist thing but the children of illegal immigrants usually raise themselves seeing as their parents are always working. For much of my childhood i would be without any parents from the time i got home from school to 7 pm. If you look at their children youll see most of them become cholos and waste their life.

Mexicans, illegal or otherwise are, for all intents and purposes, what might be called a visible minority with a stigma attached. with a stigma, usually, comes the stereo type. when people from other countries visit the U S A and resemble these Mexicans, they are shunned and made very uncomfortable.
there seems to be no immediate cure for this ill. meanwhile, for erroneous purposes victims will continue to suffer indefinitely.

I live in California San Diego. I don't hate immigrants. It is what it is.
I'm not worried about them taking my job because the jobs that they do take are mainly unskilled. If you have lost your job to an illegal emigrant then you need to strongly consider a college edcucation or improving your own work skills. Stop blaming your lack of skills and education on immigrants. You as an american have every oppoortunity to go to college if you really want.

I can't speak for all Californians but I can speak for a few... I have several cousins, an aunt and two uncles in Cali.
Their opinion of Mexicans is not good. They believe that the massive influx of illegals has destroyed their culture. Btw, they have lived there since 1972. They have watched their culture go from a typical suburb to feeling like they are living in Mexico.

I'm a Californian-coming from an immigrant parent, I don't really agree what you're saying. Are you a Californian at all?...everybody is trying to blame us, when we ought to be focusing on other important issues; like poverty, hunger, global warming, over spending and oil scarcity. Nobody should be blaming on anybody but ourselves.
Hey, if you don't like California just leave, easy as that. Is no wonder you're still single, you haven't attained full growth.
